"Fire Eagle® Air"
The HAIX® Fire Eagle® Air our newest innovation in firefighting boots,
Sole
Lightweight rubber/PU sole in a sports style with sturdy road/rough terrain profile and enhanced toe-to-heel support; wear-resistant with excellent anti-slip properties - even in cold weather. The lightweight PU shock absorption wedge provides extra walking comfort and excellent thermal insulation. The flame-resistant outer sole is non-marking and offers excellent resistance against heat, oil, and fuels. Its bright yellow signal marks are visible even through thick smoke.
HAIX® Vario Wide Fit System
For a more individualized fit, boot fit can be adjusted with an alternate insole. Blue – Narrower fit (thickest), Red – Moderate fit (average thickness), Yellow – Wider fit (thinnest). If boots feel slightly wide, HAIX® recommends using the next thickest insole or, if slightly narrow, to use the next thinnest insole.
HAIX® Secura Liner®
Footwear inner liner will never pull out or wrinkle up over time; the lining is firmly secured and sealed along with the upper leather beneath the sole.
HAIX® Sun Reflect Leather
Reduces the heating effect of the upper leather. Sunlight is reflected by the leather, keeping the leather and the feet cooler.
HAIX® Ankle Flex System
Ankle Flex System refers to the functionality of a pull-on boot which enables it to adjust to different foot, ankle, and heel shapes, providing optimal fit in the boot. Integrated flex-zones ensure high flexibility and prevent pressure points.
Protective Toe Cap
Anatomically formed and well-padded composite protective toe cap meets ASTM 2413-11 and CAN/ CSA Z195-2014 standard for personal protection – protective footwear.
Upper Material
Waterproof leather, hydrophobic, and breathable.
Moisture Barrier
CROSSTECH® footwear, 4 layers, waterproof and breathable, bacteria and chemical resistant, bloodborne pathogen resistant. Highly abrasion-resistant and softly padded with breathable fleece.
Protective Flexible Midsole
Flexible protective stainless steel, cast into the PU midsole, meets ASTM F2413-11 and CAN/ CSA Z195-2014 standard for personal protection – protective footwear.
Footbed
Moisture-absorbent fleece insole.
Insole
Moisture-wicking comfort inserts with cushioning effect and antibacterial properties. A separate heel cup ensures optimized cushioning and foot guidance. “AIRFLOW“ channels. “Perfect-Fit“ marking for optimized boot size choice. Washable at 86 °F.
HAIX® Arch Support System
Optimal ankle support and shock absorption in the arch provided by an anatomically formed last; good foot guidance and proper hold thanks to narrow heel and ankle shaft combined with added comfort through the broad front foot area.
